Curator In The Classroom
“Curator in the Classroom” brings history directly to your school! This program allows teachers for all grade levels to schedule a visit from our Director, who arrives with a hands-on traveling exhibit tailored to students’ learning needs and interests. Each visit blends storytelling, artifacts, and interactive learning to make local history come alive.
Past programs include Living History Day at Hardin Northern and a two-day lesson on Oral Histories for Agriculture students at Ridgemont. Curator in the Classroom is a fun, flexible way to connect students with Hardin County’s history—right in their own classroom.
