Give a gift that will last generations
We are honored to receive items that help tell the story of Hardin County and its people. Before donating, please keep the following in mind:
Donated items become the permanent property of the Hardin County Historical Museums Inc., and cannot be returned to the donor or their family. While we thoughtfully review each donation, the display of an item—and the length of time it may be exhibited—cannot be guaranteed. We make these decisions based on our exhibit space and the thematic extent of our collection.
To help us preserve your artifact’s full story, we kindly ask that you bring along any written notes, memories, names, dates, or personal stories connected to the item. These details are just as important as the artifact itself and help ensure its history is remembered for generations to come!
