Museum on Main is our primary site; we are just a block down from the Hardin County Courthouse and the Square, located in the former Sullivan-Johnson house.

Visit hardin county heritage center
The Hardin County Heritage Center offers an eclectic collection celebrating the rich and unique history of Hardin County. Visitors can explore the Beech Grove Schoolhouse, a newly acquired International Car Company caboose generously donated by CSX, the Agricultural Learning Hub—once a barn owned by the Burnison family—the historic Staadt Log Home, and a step-back-in-time general store housed in the former Dunkirk Jail.
